PorkControl

PorkControl is a graphical control interface for the Yaesu FT-817ND used by hundreds of radio amateurs and researchers worldwide. It supports the control of frequency, mode, offsets, favourites and automatic (UK) repeater configuration.

BusTimes

The BusTimes JAVA application shows the next bus services in a small window. The times are loaded from a file in CSV format. The application includes an (outdated) example file containing the times from Lancaster University Underpass.

SplitCrypt

SplitCrypt demonstrates a method to securely transfer or store files. It involves using a random number generator to split a file into two parts that are later recombined to reproduce an exact copy but are useless individually.

DbiFace

DbiFace is a very basic graphical interface to view MySQL database table data and add/edit/delete records over a MySQL network connection. Demonstrates use of database metadata.

Psion Series 3a Software

Please note that Psion software is not compatible with PC and is intended for use on Psion PDAs. Psion stopped producing these machines about ten years ago, so this software is only useful for legacy users.

TCicon allows you to create icons for applications and program groups using a basic cursor interface and a zoommed panel to work in detail.

TCdraw can open, create, edit and save greyscale Psion PIC files. It provides numerous graphic functions including fills, outlines, rectangles, circles, borders, buttons and text. It is ideal for producing splash screens, backgrounds, maps or files for later uploading to PC.
